Together with local partner PT. Asia Quattro Net (AQN), YOOSE is very proud to announce that Telkomsel’s “Grapari Visit” campaign has been named as a finalist for Best Campaign - Location-Based Marketing at Marketing’s Mob-Ex Awards 2016.
Out of 340 entries received from greater Asia, only 160 managed to reach the final round of the awards, with 5 finalists named for each category.
YOOSE and AQN collaborated with leading Indonesian telecommunications company Telkomsel on a location based mobile advertising campaign for their newly launched 4G LTE Service. The main aim was to use mobile advertising and location to target their current subscribers directly on their mobile devices in order to drive awareness of the USIM and increase conversion of current 3G SIM cards to USIM. Targeted consumers were brought to a landing page with an online form to enable those who were interested to sign up on the spot after they clicked through the mobile ad banner.
YOOSE utilised its precise geotargeting solution and implemented targeting layers together with specific geofences to ensure that only Telkomsel subscribers with specific devices and who were in the vicinity of selected areas were targeted. Standard and interstitial banners were then used to capture the attention of these subscribers and drive footfall to selected Telkomsel Grapari outlets for those who wanted to change their SIM cards for free.
Having previously worked with Telkomsel, YOOSE analysed previous and current campaign results to increase the impact of the campaign and maximise budget. The core insight was to target the right audience at the right place at the right time and leveraging on the opportunity to understand their behavioural patterns so as to drive the highest engagement.
